Born and raised in Sarnia, Ontario, Doug Slipacoff returned home after earning his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) focused in Sports Management and Business Administration from Neumann University just outside Philadelphia, PA. While at Neumann, Doug played defense for their hockey team with a NCAA Championship win in his senior year. Upon graduation, Doug joined his father in operating their family's scrap metal recycling company, Trijan Industries, where he became the 4th generation of his family to participate in the business.
Doug always had an interest in real estate and had been through the buying and selling process a few times himself. It was during the COVID pandemic that he decided it was time to pursue his passion for real estate and for helping people and obtained his real estate certification through the comprehensive Humber College Real Estate program.
Although new to real estate, Doug’s time at Trijan allowed him to hone his skills in management and customer relations while developing a solid network of contacts - preparing him for his newest endeavour.
Integrity, respect and customer service are core business values that Doug believes in. Should you choose to work with Slipacoff Homes, his pledge to you is that these values will never waiver in his commitment to providing you with a first class real estate experience you can trust in.
Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Christina followed her heart to Sarnia after meeting Doug. With a number of accomplishments under her belt including a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with a double major in Genetics and Conservation Biology from the University of Western Ontario, careers in communications, marketing and public health, as well as co-owning fashion boutique, lace + charm, Christina is following her heart once again into the field of interior design.
Using neutral tones, lots of textures and natural materials that will stand the test of time - Christina’s style is minimalist yet welcoming and incorporates Japandi values and concepts into her design.
Japandi is a blend of Japanese and Scandinavian styles. Influenced by the ancient Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi, a way of life which values slow-living, contentment and simplicity, as well as the Scandinavian practice of hygge, which embraces comfort, cosiness and wellbeing.
Christina is thrilled to finally pursue her true passion of interior design and to transform homes into spaces that are functional, beautiful and unique to her clients - personalized to the way they live.
